Fans find ‘MEB’ poster regressive, call out Samantha

The first look poster of Akhil Akkineni’s ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ was released two days back. Interestingly enough, a few fans are finding this poster regressive and are expressing their displeasure on social media.

Pooja Hegde is seen playfully tickling Akhil’s ears with her feet in the poster. It appears to be that a section of cine enthusiasts are finding this poster offensive as the lady lead is touching her co-star’s ear with her feet. They are saying that this is a mark of disrespect.

A few netizens are even calling out Samantha and asking her to speak out. They are pointing out that Samantha made her voice heard back when a particular poster of Mahesh Babu’s ‘1 Nenokkadine’ was released. In this poster, the female lead is seen falling on the protagonist’s footsteps. Samantha’s reaction to this poster created a huge controversy at that point in time.

A few netizens are taking this poster even more seriously. They are saying that Pooja Hegde, who is 29, should not be tickling Akhil, who is 26, with her feet.

Well, it needs to be said that people should stop zooming into every single aspect of a film. Cinema is an art form and filmmakers should not be apprehended for unintentional actions.
