In a tragic incident, a family of four, including two children, allegedly committed suicide in Keesara, Medchal district.
As per reports, Yadadri Bhikshapati and Usha couple from Rajapeta, Bhuvanagiri district came to Nagaram-West Gandhinagar in Keesara area for a livelihood a few years back.
Bhikshapati makes a living by driving an auto. They have a daughter, Harshini and a son, Yashwanth. Locals alleged that Bhikshapati was behaving indecently towards a girl in a house next door. The locals attacked him Thursday night, and they left him saying they would deal with the issue in the presence of the elders on Friday morning.
Unable to bear the humiliation, Bhikshapati became deeply saddened. He first hanged his wife and children and then committed suicide.
Locals who noticed this morning immediately informed the police. Keesara CI Narender, who reached the spot, examined the bodies and moved them to the hospital for postmortem. A case has been registered, and an investigation is going on.
