When director Anil Paduri’s poster of Ketika Sharma in a nude back was shown hugging Akash Puri, it obviously fetched a lot of attention. The film titled Romantic has a key role that needs to be handled by a talented artist and a senior only.
Charmme who is producing the film contacted Ramya Krishna and found out what she needed to work in the film. On hearing Ramya Krishna’s remuneration and calculating the money to be spent on a particular hotel, Charmme began bargaining and suggested Ramya to cut down somewhere on her demands. The actress turned furious and abruptly cut the conversation.
Instead of Ramya Krishna, Mandira Bedi was roped in and a considerable portion was shot on her. On seeing the rushes Puri Jagan or the director were not happy and told Charmee to speak to Ramya Krishna again.
This time there was no re-negotiations, the team gave her what she wanted. Every film has a budget, we agree but when you want Shivagami aka Ramya Krishna, the best in her category, someone has to compromise and in this case, it had to be Charmme.
Hope, the film works well and Ramya’s presence gets the producer good enough numbers in the box office as Puri had been working hard and spending quite a bit on his son and brother.
