Noted singer Noel Sean and Ester Noronha got married last January in grand manner. But the young couple decided to part ways soon after their marriage and applied for divorce. Very recently, Mangalore high court has granted divorce to the couple. Here is what Ester had to say when we caught up with her.
You two were deep in love and got married recently, what is the reason behind the decision to severe your marriage?
I can’t point out reasons at this point in time. We had ideological differences after marriage and decided we could not bond together. Applying for divorce was a mutual decision and the high court granted bail yesterday.
Now that you are single, would you like to act in movies again?
To be frank, my personal life has nothing to do with acting. I kept receiving movie offers even after getting married but I rejected most of them as my character in the script was not strong enough. However, I acted in a couple of Kannada movies. If the right script comes my way, I am ready to act in any language movies.
Your first experience with marriage was a bitter one, would you be getting married again?
I never particularly plan anything in my life. I like to take things in a positive stride. Coming to getting married, only god knows if I’ll get married again.
