It is quite common for every news channel to conduct the exit polls and anticipate the election result even before the official result. It is widely believed that such kind of polls try to influence the public to a greater extent and show the impact on the overall result.
A few of the political parties, even buy the promotion in the form of exit polls, to manipulate the minds of public during the elections. So considering several such points, the Election Commission (EC) has decided to impose a strict ban on the exit polls.
Including in Huzurnagar constituency in Telangana, the by-elections are going to be held in a total of 51 constituencies across the country on 21st of this month. So the EC ordered the TV channels not to conduct any exit polls during the voting hours, i.e., from 7 A.M. to 6.30 P.M.

The sensational decision is now troubling the political parties, which are purely dependent on influencing the public, with the fake exit poll surveys on TVs. On the other side, it will also help the public to choose the leader of their choice, as per their requirement, unlike getting influenced by the exit polls.
