EC in favor of PM Modi? Here’s proof

Right from the beginning, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that the Election Commission is acting in favor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While most of the opposition leaders said that it was a baseless allegation, here’s one such proof to nod yes, for Naidu’s allegations.

During the election rally in Maharashtra’ Lathore, Modi asked the people to dedicate their vote to the deceased soldiers in the recent Pulwama attack. Regarding this, Mahendra Singh of Kolkata  has complained against Modi saying that his statements are in violation of the election code. Initially, the EC has acted accordingly and included Modi’s name on the official website, under the list of complaints received during the general elections of 2019. The complaint has been registered on April 9th and it was listed on the website immediately.

But much to the shock, Modi’s name has been taken out of the list later, for the reasons unknown. Even before any announcement from Maharashtra Chief Electoral Officer, Modi’s name deletion has led to the controversy. Knowing this, Mahendra Singh went against the EC, for which the latter responded saying that it was a technical failure. Shockingly, the issue has not been resolved as of yet, even after Singh’s multiple reminders.

Election Commission is supposed to act as an independent authority and should be away from favoring any leader or a political party. But having seeing the incident, it is clearly evident that EC is in the favor of Prime Minister. It is a pure form of killing the democracy, the analysts opine, adding that Modi is using the sacrifices of Indian soldiers for his political benefits.
