The Telangana High court expressed outrage over the Telangana government. Telangana HC asked, “Are elections necessary at this time when corona is creating havoc?” The tribunal was outraged at the Election Commission for holding elections during the current Corona period. It questioned why it was so necessary to hold elections in such dire circumstances.
The tribunal was furious at allowing election rallies and campaigning in such circumstances where corona cases were rising exponentially. The High Court has asked the EC to explain why it has given permission for election campaigns and rallies from April 22 to 27. The High Court asked the government to postpone the elections. During the hearing, the tribunal bench expressed outrage over the Telangana state government and Election Commission.
