Diwali Dhamaka: Shirt for Rs.1 and Nightie for Rs.10 scheme

On the occasion of Diwali, several shops will give several offers and most of them are focused on money making and high business. But few companies and shops concentrate on making people happy, on the occasion of Diwali. One such shop is Anand’s clothing store in Chakalipeta.

Anand felt like making poor happy and hence he kept a scheme of Rs.1 for shirt and Rs.10 for nightie. People flooded to his store and he kept a higher cap limit of 50 per day. He starts this offer at 10AM and continues till 11AM. As per Anand, if we give away something for free, it will not have any value to that particular individual, but if we put some minimum price tag, they will value it. Seeing the happiness in the poor, Anand raised the 50 per day limit to 200.

It is an appreciable act to help the poor during the festival time. Its an occasion of happiness and sharing it with others is a noble act. Great going Anand!
