Director Krishna Vamsi, who is known as the creative genius of Tollywood, is gearing up for his first release in a long while. The movie is named Rangamarthanda and features Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishna and Brahmanandam in the lead roles. The movie is a remake of the Marathi film Natsamrat, which featured Nana Patekar in the lead role.
The music for Rangamarthanda is composed by Ilayaraja, while Megastar Chiranjeevi even lent his voice for a Telugu shayari for the film.
