Konidela Productions have officially announced that Mohan Raja will be directing the Telugu remake of Malayalam political thriller ‘Lucifer’.
Tentatively titled MegaStar153, this project will be hitting the floors from January next year.
Megastar Chiranjeevi will be joining the sets after Sankranthi 2021.
“#MegaStar153 #Lucifer movie Telugu remake will be directed by @Jayam_Mohanraja and jointly produced by @KonidelaPro & NVR Cinema.
#MegaStar @KChiruTweets will join the sets after Sankranthi 2021,” read the statement from Konidela Productions.
Initially, Sujeeth was supposed to direct Lucifer remake but he opted out later and Mohan Raja has been locked now. Mohan previously directed Thani Oruvan which was later remade in Telugu as Dhruva.
Chiranjeevi is presently busy with Acharya and it appears to be that he will be simultaneously shooting for Lucifer remake starting from coming January.
