Dil Raju paying earth-shattering remuneration to Thalapathy Vijay

Thalapathy Vijay is in red-hot form now. All his films are performing exceptionally well at the box office and he is one of the most reliable superstars in South Indian cinema currently.

Vijay will soon be debuting in Tollywood with a straight Telugu film which will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Dil Raju will be producing this much-anticipated film.

Reportedly, Dil Raju had to burn a big hole in his pocket to bring Vijay on-board for the project. He is paying Vijay and earth-shattering remuneration of Rs 100 crores for this as-yet-untitled celluloid.

Dil Raju has already paid Vijay a token advance of Rs 10 crores. The remaining amount will be paid in regular instalments once the project hits the floors.

It is safe to say that Vijay is one of the highest paid actors in South Indian cinema presently. His market in the Telugu states is expected to grow bigger with his straight Telugu film and his star value is likely to increase multi-fold.
