The upcoming pan-India film “Devara,” which boasts the largest budget in Junior NTR’s career, is at the center of a heated battle for theatrical rights among major Tollywood companies. Rumors suggest that producer Nagavamshi of Sitara Entertainments is close to sealing a deal worth approximately 115 to 125 crores for the AP Telangana region, with an official announcement pending confirmation.
Supporting these rumors, Junior NTR made a rare public appearance as the chief guest at the Tillu Square Success Meet, having attended the special premiere the night before. His unusual openness to the event is speculated to be linked to Nagavamshi’s involvement in the Devara deal. Additionally, Trivikram on the same stage said 2024 as Devara Nama Samvatsaram.
Connecting these dots, speculations rose that Sitara Entertainments may indeed secure the rights to “Devara.” The news spread rapidly across the internet, prompting Naga Vamsi to quickly address the rumors. He took to Twitter and said that the “images” and “updates” being shared on social media were not true. He also clarified that any official news regarding their Production or Distribution would only be communicated directly through their official channels only. He urged the public not to believe rumors originating from unofficial sources.
