Andhra Pradesh Minister Dharmana Prasad Rao is a member of the ruling YSRCP party, and as such, he is expected to sing praises of his party in public, encouraging the people of Andhra Pradesh to vote for the party once again, making YS Jagan Mohan Reddy the Chief Minister of the state for the second time.
However, the minister’s behavior in recent times has shocked everyone, from common people to politicians. Whenever and wherever he is campaigning, his words are not in support of his party. On the contrary, he is highlighting the poor situation of roads in the state. He is pointing out that good roads are the first and most primary sign of development and infrastructure in a state. He even said that this is why an outer ring road was constructed around Hyderabad.
Dharmana noted that it is mandatory for every village to have cement roads, and this is the only way any place would develop. At a time when the YSRCP is trying to tell the people that it has done more than the previous government, Dharmana’s words highlight the opposite. He is conveying to the people that the current government has done a lot less for the state than the previous one. It is going to be interesting to see where this will all lead to.
