Dhanush commences shooting for “Sir”

It is known that Kollywood actor Dhanush’s upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual film “Sir” began production in Hyderabad on Monday. The Maari actor has joined the sets of the film and the makers shared the same on social media.

Sharing a still of Dhanush from Sir, the production house Sithara Entertainments wrote on Twitter, “Dhanush in & as #Vaathi/#SIR ~ Filming Begins.”

Sir will mark Dhanush’s debut in the Telugu film industry. Samyuktha is the leading lady, and it is her second Telugu flick. She has acted in the upcoming Pawan Kalyan starrer Bheemla Nayak.

Written and directed by Venky Atluri of “Rang De” and “Tholiprema” fame, Sir is being bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas’ Sai Soujanya.

Sir also stars Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani and Narra Srinivas. Cinematographer Dinesh Krishnan, National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli, and composer GV Prakash Kumar are on board for this project.
