In a major relief to TDP, Devineni Avinash denied all rumors about his defection, and clarified that he is going to stay back in Telugu Desam.
As several TDP leaders are planning to quit the party, even Devineni Avinash’s exit was considered inevitable. At a point of time, there were also rumors that he already had discussions with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and would soon leave TDP and shift to YSRCP. But shockingly, he now came out to clarify on the issue.
He tweeted on his official Twitter handle saying that he is going to stay back with TDP and the party chief Chandrababu Naidu.

As TDP had to face a bitter defeat in the recent elections, several leaders of the party are considering that there is no more future for it in the state. If at all, YSRCP allowed the defections, most of the leaders of the opposition party by now, would have been in the ruling party itself.
But, Jagan’s decision to disallow the defections, saved TDP, which made several leaders to stay back in the party itself, with no option left. Even Devineni Avinash reportedly involved in a closed door meeting with the young CM and tried to convince him. But as the talks failed, he might have decided to stay back in TDP.
