The Enforcement Directorate(ED) has recently summoned BRS leader Kalvakuntla Kavitha in the Delhi excise policy case. In the notices, the ED mentioned that K Kavitha should appear before it in Delhi on March 9. Responding to this, Kavitha wrote a letter to ED stating that she cannot appear for a hearing on March 9. Also, she mentioned that she can attend the hearing on March 11.
As the ED hasn’t responded to Kavitha’s request, she arrived in Delhi last night. On the other hand, Kavitha announced that a press meet will be held today at 1 pm. With this, there is dilemma over her ED trial. In the early hours of today morning, ED has given a green signal for Kavitha’s request.
As per the sources, it is heard that as scheduled, the protest to be held on the Women’s Reservation Bill near Jantar Mantar on March 11 will be held as usual. After that, Kavitha will attend the ED investigation.
