The release of Tollywood actor Adivi Sesh’s Major was postponed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The movie team today announced that the high voltage action entertainer will hit the screens on February 11th 2022 in Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
Taking to his social media handle, Adivi Sesh wrote, “#MajorTheFilm releases on FEBRUARY 11th 2022! WORLDWIDE in THEATRES only #MajorOnFeb11. A Massive film inspired by the life, love and LEGACY of #MajorSandeepUnnikrishnan.”
Major is based on the story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who passed away while fighting terrorists during the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. Adivi Sesh has also written the screenplay of the film.
Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, Major has Bollywood actress Saiee Manjrekar playing the female lead. GMB Entertainment, Sony Pictures and A+S Movies backed the film. Sri Charan Pakala is the music composer of Major.
Apart from Major, Adivi Sesh is also working on Goodachari 2, a sequel to his 2018 blockbuster Goodachari.
