Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan starrer Acharya, which was released amid high expectations, failed to impress the audience and critics alike. The Koratala Siva directorial, which had Mahesh Babu lending voice-over, tanked at the box office unimaginably, owing to its poor storytelling.
The latest update is that the movie, led by the father-son duo, will have its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video on May 20. Releasing a new poster, the digital streaming platform announced the same on Friday. The movie is hitting the OTT platform just three weeks after having a theatrical release on April 29.
Acharya is produced by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy under Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainment. The movie also stars Pooja Hegde, Sonu Sood and Jisshu Sengupta. Music is composed by Mani Sharma while cinematography is handled by Tirru.
