The world’s first feature film Gabru Gang based on the premise of Kite flying as a sport would soon be releasing this year. It is touted to be an emotional yet fun filled thriller film that revolves around Kite competitions like never before. The narrative captures the lives of an underdog team of young chaps who aim high to win the kite competition.
Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi who has rendered one of the songs in the film shared an excerpt of it on twitter. He captioned,“Happy to share the first glimpse of #GabruGang, World’s first film based on a kite competition. A Hindi feature film about an 8 year old boy who goes on the become the kite champion of India.

In the short video captured from the studio, Daler sings a promo anthem song, which begins with a catchy line “Punjab ka puttar aaya hein”. The 17 second snippet of the song sung is seemingly rocking!.
Artipuri who Is one of the producers of her first venture expressed her gratitude towards the singer for lending his magical voice. She even hinted that the film’s poster will be out soon.
Gabru Gang is directed by Sameer Khan while produced jointly by Ashok Goenka and Arti Puri under Omsuraj productions. The cast include Abishek Duhan, Srishty Rode and Priyanka Kehra in key roles.
