Daggubati clan promotes the traditional handloom clothing creatively!

In an intimate low key wedding ceremony held on Saturday night at Ramanaidu studios, Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad, Rana and Miheeka exchanged their wedding vows in Telugu and Marwadi traditions.

It was a close knit affair attended in a controlled environment by close friends, family members and relatives. The ceremony was graced by few popular personalities like Allu Arjun, Venkatesh, Naga Chaitanya, Samantha Akkineni, Ram Charan and Upasana.

After the fabulous wedding, relatives of the Daggubati and Akkineni family have collaborated to showcase their clothing creatively. In the pic we can see everyone In a simple yet classy attire hand-loomed by Lakshmi Daggubati, mother of Naga Chaitanya.

To the unversed, Lakshmi is into clothing and designing business that exclusively promotes cotton woven hand crafted clothes. So on this special ocassion it appears that the whole clan came forward to promote the clothing line by encouraging everyone to embrace it.

National Handloom Day is commemorated one August 7th to pay tribute to the weavers and promote the handmade and hand woven clothes. On the marriage ocassion, Samantha Akkineni shared a vibrant pic along side daggubati clan wearing handlooms.

She also appealed to her followers to support local weavers and artisans by using the handpicked and handcombed clothes that is woven with love by them. She emphasised that it’s a supple spinning of heritage Ponduru cotton woven into a perfect canvas by Andhra weavers.
