Tollywood is slowly getting adjusted to the new normal as film shootings are being resumed amidst strict safety precautions. Given the current situation, filmmakers are mostly planning indoor shoots at private film studios in and around Hyderabad.
With the severity of Covid-19 pandemic in mind, even film studios are incorporating new concepts in order to provide utmost safety to movie units. Incidentally, top film studios in Hyderabad, namely Ramoji Film City, Saradhi studios, Ramanaidu Studios, and Annapurna Studios are following new safety measures.
If anyone wishes to enter these studios for shooting purposes they will have to acquire a code from the studio manager. Prior to the allotment of this code, the manager checks the temperature of the person for medical reasons and also collects appropriate medical data. This greatly improves the efficiency of combating Covid-19 as this medical information can later be used to track down potential Covid-19 patients.
Also, practicing social distancing is being advised at all work places on order to cut down the risk of Covid-19 transmission. Well, it needs to be said that film studios are putting in their best efforts to arrest the spread of coronavirus.
