Covid deaths are huge and recoveries are less.. AP entered danger zone??

The silver lining that the Andhra Pradesh government had all these days seems to have gone as the recoveries from the COVID-19 is at a very diminishing rate in the last week. On the other side, the deaths are increasing at a rapid pace for the past few weeks on which the media and the government turned a blind eye completely.

If we have a look at the numbers, in Andhra Pradesh, 89 people have died with the corona in the past 24 hours. As usual, more than ten thousand cases were registered. With this, the number of corona victims in AP has crossed 2 lakhs. An additional one lakh corona cases were reported in just 11 days.

The corona is now booming in most states in the country. But in the AP it has risen to an unexpected level. In AP, 11 days ago 1090 people died of Corona and now that number has crossed 18 hundred. Almost 700 people were deceased in the state in 11 days is nothing but insane.

In the same 11 day period, 1,10,000 cases were registered in this Telugu speaking state. Except for one or two days in the middle, almost every day, 10 thousand cases are registered. At the same time, the recovery rate fell to an all-time low which is 55%. Medical professionals are extremely concerned about the rising death toll and the declining recovery rate.

With these stats, one can confidently say that AP has entered the real danger zone where people who are being admitted with NOVEL CORONA VIRUS infection have no guarantee for their lives which is a whole different situation in other states. AP government may be performing record level tests daily, but what is the use of identifying the infected persons whose lives we are failing to save.

It is high time that Jagan’s government needs to concentrate on their medical facilities and the infrastructure if they really want to save as many lives as possible.
