Covid-19: Oxford vaccine will come first in India

Several countries were doing human trails and are in the Covid-19 vaccine race. Russia recently stated that they successfully developed vaccine for Covid-19 and UK is almost there. Among all the vaccines in the world, India is currently betting high on the UK based Oxford University developed vaccine.

In India, Serum Institute is manufacturing the vaccines and the Central Government is hoping that they might come anytime soon in this year. Few of the Indian companies too were in the race and the Central Government is hoping that a vaccine developed and made in India too will be available soon. The difference between the two vaccines is expected to be in weeks.

Serum Institute of India is aiming to release few lakhs of doses once the vaccine gets approved. If the human trails show positive results, Central Government is planning to make the approval process simple to make sure that the vaccine hits the market as soon as possible.
