As the Covid-19 infections are rapidly increasing in Maharashtra, the state government has taken a key decision to halt the shootings of films and TV serials in the state.
The fresh guidelines will be executed throughout the state from 8 PM on Wednesday to 7 AM on May 1. With these orders, the Adipurush team, which was shooting in Mumbai, has no other option but to suspend the shoot for a while.
It is already reported that the team is using the latest technology for the film and most of the shoot is being happened in a blue-mat/green-mat set environment.
Adipurush is a mythological film, which is based on the epic Ramayana. The film is being made on a mammoth budget of Rs 400 crore and it will hit the screens on August 11, 2022.
