Covid-19 Awareness: Never before film by all Indian Superstars

Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, the entire world is facing  severe health crisis.  A slew of celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt among many others, have come together to create awareness about COVID-19 through a short film, titled Family.

The main importance of the short film is to highlight staying at home, staying safe, maintaining hygiene, working from home and maintaining social distancing. It was aired across Sony Network on Monday at 9 p.m. It can also be watched on YouTube.

The short film begins with megastar Amitabh Bachchan looking for his sunglasses or ‘Kala chashma’. That is when Diljit Dosanjh and Ranbir Kapoor go on a series of adventures, trying to find the sunglasses. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Superstar Rajinikanth, and  Alia Bhatt also make an appearance.

Eventually Priyanka Chopra finds the glasses and hands them over to Big B to which he says, ‘I needed these sunglasses because now I don’t need them. I am not going out of the house for a few days. If it lies around, it will get lost. If it gets lost, you all will have to search for it’.

At the end, Big B said ‘We all made this film together, but none of us ever stepped out of our respective house.’ He further added, ‘You too, please stay indoors. That is the only way to keep yourself safe’. ‘We all have come together and teamed up with sponsors and TV channel to raise a fund, and this fund will be distributed to our workers and daily wage earners.

Well, it was great intuitive by all actors, who came forward to create awareness among the people. Kudos and Hats off!!!
