Corona Effect on print media! People are Shivering

The Covid-19 virus which evolved in China’s Wuhan Province has spread to the majority part of the world. Especially Italy is turning into the graveyard and the positive cases in India have already exceeded 400. India registered its 7th death due to Covid-19 and as a result of this 13 states in the country have announced lockdown till March 31st.

There are numerous ways for the spread of this virus and that is what makes Covid-19 deadly. If the infected person touches anything after sneezing or coughing in his hand the virus transmits to a healthy person who comes in contact with the same surface. So, during this Covid-19 outbreak, people are prohibited to touch unnecessary things but they are still in a lot of fear.

For example, the daily newspaper we read comes in contact with many hands after it gets printed. The press staff packs the newspapers and the others will make them into bundles to ease the transport. It travels long distances and the agents will separate the main edition to round them up with the district edition individually.

After that, the paperboys will collect those individual newspapers to throw them at our doorstep. In some cases Watchmen will bring them to all floors in the apartment. During this entire process a single Covid-19 positive person is enough and capable of infecting hundreds of people in a single day. So the daily newspapers we carve with our Tea or Coffee may act as Covid-19 vectors.
