While the heat of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ignoring to light the candles is still on, here comes a fresh controversy.
The passengers who were travelling by bus to Tirumala spotted the ads of Jerusalem and Haj on the bus tickets. Aggrieved over it, the passengers raised a complaint, alleging that the ads were intended to grab the attention of pilgrims travelling to Tirupati.
Responding to the issue, RTC’s executive director for Operations said, “It is an advertisement of the government issued by the minorities department.”
Shockingly, the endowment minister has blamed the previous government, saying that the tickets were printed in the TDP’s regime. BJP, which is waiting for a chance to blame the ruling party, has lashed out at YSRCP blaming it for the mistake. They alleged that Jagan is pushing an agenda for non-Hindu communities.
It is the second time in a row, that Jagan is facing the allegations of this sort. As there is no strong reply from the YSRCP circles, the issue is expected to create a huge backfire among the public, as it hurts the religious sentiments of many.
