Mega Star Chiranjeevi post his re entry is taking his own time in completing films. Currently he is busy with playing lead role in the movie Acharya which is being directed by Koratala Shiva. Shooting of this film is currently 40 percent completed and the rest will be wrapped in quick time post lock down gets lifted. Acharya is looking for year end release.
Chiranjeevi in his latest interview has announced his next set of films. “There are talks going on with Sujith for Lucifer remake. Director Bobby too has narrated me a script and we have to see how it goes. Other than these there is Meher Ramesh script as well. I am interested in doing films with young bunch of directors like these” said Chiranjeevi.
However this update hasn’t excited Mega fans. Sujith is on the back of a big flop with Saaho. Also the project is a remake and on top of that Lucifer is dubbed in Telugu already. Director Bobby has scored hits with Jai Lava Kusa and Venky Mama. However these two movies are termed as mediocre. There are other factors which helped the film’s success. Meher Ramesh’s name is definitely a big shock factor for the mega fans.
Almost audience have forgotten his name and his biggest duds. Chiranjeevi doing a film with him is definitely a big shock. We have to wait and see how these projects shape up.
