It is known that the government of Telangana had recently announced that the prestigious Nandi Awards will be renamed as Gaddar Awards. This name change proposition will be approved by the cabinet soon and presented in front of the assembly.
On this matter, Megastar Chiranjeevi spoke with the media briefly and he spoke highly of CM Revanth Reddy for this interesting decision.
“It is a welcome change of personnel. I am happy with the name change from Nandi Awards to Gaddar Awards as this can be a remembrance service for the beloved revolutionary poet. I thank the chief minister Revanth Reddy garu for this thoughtful gesture.” Chiranjeevi said at an event last night.
Chiranjeevi went on to speak highly of Revanth Reddy for the helping hand that he is readily lending out for the betterment of the film industry. He said he hopes this good relationship continues over the years.
