We already reported that Padmavathi, the wife of actor Uttej, passed away on Monday, September 13 at 8:30 am. She breathed her last at Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad. She was 46.
As soon as the news broke out, Megastar Chiranjeevi, Prakash Raj, Brahmaji, Rajasekhar and Jeevitha Rajasekha, among others, reached Basavatarakam Hospital and condoled Uttej and his family members.
They attended the last rites that took place at Mahaprasthanam in the city. Uttej burst into tears when he saw Chiranjeevi. Megastar and Prakash Raj were also emotional. The popular character artiste is in a state of shock over the death of his wife.
According to reports, Padmavathi was undergoing treatment for cancer at the Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital. However, she succumbed to the disease and breathed her last today.
The last rites of Uttej’s wife Padmavathi took place at Mahaprasthanam at 1:30 pm in Hyderabad. She is survived by her husband Uttej and daughter Chetana.
