Megastar Chiranjeevi, who is currently busy with Acharya shooting, has already launched his next film with director Mohan Raja, which is the Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer.
The project marks the maiden collaboration of Chiru and Mohan Raja. S Thaman has been roped in to compose music.
As per the schedule, the film was supposed to start rolling from the 1st week of April. But close reports revealed that the shooting of the Lucifer remake has been postponed because of the raising Covid-19 infections.
On the other hand, Chiranjeevi ongoing film Acharya, directed by Koratala Siva, was announced for May 13 release. Looks like the makers skipped this deadline and aimed for another release date. Indeed, the second wave of Covid-19 is surely causing trouble to filmmakers even after the vaccine is available.
