In the past few days, the news was circulating that the Telangana government is planning to implement a full lockdown in the state. With educational institutions being closed, people are worried about the government’s plans on lockdown.
In a big relief, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today declared that there will be no lockdown in the State. He assured the people that no precipitate decisions will be taken. However, the CM asked people to strictly adhere to Covid-19 safety norms.
Addressing the Budget Session of the Legislative Assembly on Friday, KCR said the government closed the schools provisionally as a precautionary measure to safeguard children from the pandemic
The CM also advised people to keep weddings and other celebrations with the least number of people and urged them to support the state in curbing the virus.
