Change in H1-B model to affect Indians?

Up until now, there were certain loopholes in the H1-B visa model as Indian students could file multiple applications for the H1-B visa through different companies. This meant that the chances of one of their applications getting picked are substantially higher than a single application.

But the USA has now imposed a new regulation which restricts such developments. As per the new regulation, only one application from concerned beneficiary will be accepted and later processed for lottery system.

This will put a complete stop to fraud and misuse of the H1 lottery system by Desi IT companies in U.S. The regulation has will come to implementation from the financial year 2025.

This is a major disappointment for MS students applying for H1-B visas later this year. This is in view of the huge inflow of immigration students that the US wants to restrict.
