TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to flood-affected areas in the undivided East and West Godavari districts has been disrupted. The party president and several other party leaders escaped a boat accident on Thursday as the boat they were travelling in lost balance due to overweight.
While CBN was in the boat, a few party leaders fell into the floodwater. Former ministers Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and Pithani Satyannarayana, Undi MLA Manthen Rama Raju, Tanuku former MLA Radhakkrishna and others fell into the 10 feet deep water as the boat turned to a side. Some fishermen who were present at the site rescued the TDP leaders.
