The CBI has almost been neglecting the case against the various attacks that were targeted towards the judiciary in Andhra Pradesh. The case was handed over to the CBI a really long time ago, but the CBI seemed to be passing time with an arrest here, and an arrest there, with no real seriousness to be seen. In fact, it almost seemed as though the CBI was searching for reasons to not arrest some of the culprits.
When someone from the Jana Sena Party recently tweeted stating that he would turn into a human bomb and kill the AP CM, from a fake Twitter account and immediately deleted the tweet, the CID found the man and presented him in front of the media within a matter of hours. When the CID was able to achieve such a feat within such a short span, everyone began wondering why the CBI hasn’t been doing better in the case. However, it now seems to be taking the case quite seriously, as it has taken into custody some serious players in the matter.
Recently, the CBI conducted raids at a Municipal Councilor’s office, along with the AP Digital Corporation’s office, with regards to the case. Gurrampati Devender Reddy is the in-charge of the AP Digital Corporation, which openly supports the YSRCP and runs digital campaigns for the party, through several social media platforms. They bash those against the YSRCP and support those in favour of the party. With the CBI having arrested the individuals related to these institutions, it is being said that it would not be a difficult task for the CBI to get to the bottom of the entire thing and take the necessary action against the culprits very soon.
