Hyper Adi, a comedian associated with Telugu comedy show Jabardasth has landed in legal trouble for allegedly belittling Telangana culture and the native traditions.
Telangana Jagruti Student Federation members Naveen Goud, Karthik, and Chinta Mahesh filed a complaint against Adi and Mallemaala Entertainments for hurting their beliefs.
Apparently, in one particular episode, the actors speak low of Bathukamma, Gauramma and other Telangana-based beliefs.
This episode, which TJSF members claim is offensive was aired on Sreedevi Drama Company program.
The case has been lodged at LB Nagar police station and more details regarding the same will be out once the investigation is done.
