Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, on the day of his swearing-in, promised to the youth of the state that he would be releasing a job calendar every year and fill the job vacancies in the state government. However, this did not happen, and the Jagan government released just 10,143 vacancies of nearly 2 lakh, this year, for the first time, in two years. This has greatly upset the youth of AP.
Now, Telangana CM KCR has announced that he would be releasing a job calendar very soon, and would be doing that every year as well. The TRS government failed to fill in even 40,000 vacancies in the last seven years, but the TRS has managed to get votes everywhere in this period, by announcing the release of job vacancies. KCR used the same tactic at Dubbak Assembly bypoll, GHMC elections in 2020-end, Graduate MLC polls in March 2021, Nagarjunasagar Assembly bypoll in April 2021 and municipal polls in April 2021, which fetched him votes.
Now that the Dubbaka by-polls are around the corner, the TRS seems to be gaining as much support as it can, to make sure that they get as many votes as they can, and win the by-polls.
