Can Jawan Beat ‘Baahubali 2’?

Shah Rukh Khan’s latest action film, “Jawan,” continues to dominate the Indian box office, setting new records in cinema history by grossing an astonishing Rs 500 crores in just four days.

It aims to surpass the Hindi gross numbers of Baahubali 2, which currently holds the top spot with over 725Cr+ gross, while Pathaan stands at second place with around 640Cr.

It’s important to note that during Baahubali 2 release, Bollywood movie taxes were high, affecting the net earnings. Despite Pathaan and Gadar 2 surpassing the net earnings of Baahubali 2, they fell short in gross earnings.

Now, Jawan aims to break Baahubali 2’s gross record. Currently, Jawan has collected 252Cr net in Hindi in just four days, with early estimates suggesting an additional 30Cr.

To claim the top spot in Hindi gross earnings, Jawan needs to collect close to 600Cr net, and it remains to be seen whether it will achieve this feat or if Baahubali 2 will retain its position.
