Super Star Mahesh is currently working for Guntur Karam in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas. The regular shoot of the movie started a while ago while its new schedule has been postponed multiple times already.
Numerous speculations have been heard for the delay. Pooja Hegde and Sreeleela are playing the female leads.
On the other hand, Megastar Chiranjeevi is doing a movie with Kalyan Krishna which is known to us already. Trisha is playing opposite to him while Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Sreeleela are also included in the cast. We hear that this movie is being targeted for release during the Sankranthi season.
While Guntur Karam is initially planned for Sankranthi release, it doesn’t look like it can make its arrival for Sankranthi season. This might be pushed to Summer season going by its progress.
With this situation, it looks like Megastar Chiranjeevi will replace Mahesh for this coming Sankranthi season.
