Budget session: A wasted opportunity for TDP

Members of the Telugu Desam Party were keen on attending the budget sessions of the Andhra Pradesh government’s budget session, where it wanted to raise some key issues, and try to create awareness among the people of Andhra Pradesh, about the incompetence of the YSRCP government, and the bankrupt situation that the YSRCP put the state in, due to its lack of developmental steps.

However, while the YSRCP government managed to bring across its points quite well in the assembly, and made several strong arguments about several topics, the TDP has been a complete failure in the aspect, unable to make any point, except participate in protests and get suspended from the assembly.

This is a major setback to the TDP, which hasn’t been able to make any real impact in the assembly since the YSRCP came to power in 2019. With the TDP trying very hard to come back to power in 2024, such dismal performance is not in the best interest of the party.
