Nani and Akhil are two heroes who are due to realise their true box office potential with their upcoming films.
Now, Nani is pinning hopes on Dasara while Akhil is confident about Agent.
But there are budget headaches for both these films.
Dasara was planned to be shot on a budget of Rs 40 crores and it ended up incurring costs of Rs 60 crores on the makers. This is a major upscale in budget.
Then in case of Agent, the proposed budget was Rs 30 crores and the makers ended up spending Rs 50 crores.
Both films have shot up on budget and the onus is on Nani and Akhil to punch above their weight and fetch good box office numbers. Can they do so? We will know in the next couple of month as Dasara releases on 30th March and Agent releases on 28 April.
