Director Buchi Babu Sana’s debut directorial Uppena, starring Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty, turned out to be a massive blockbuster. The film earned Rs 100 Cr gross at the box office. Following the huge success of the romantic drama, the production house has made a deal with Buchi Babu for another film.
As the director brought huge profits to Mythri Movie Makers, now they have agreed to pay him a massive paycheck of Rs 8 crore+GST. With this, Buchi Babu has set a new precedent in Telugu film Industry by taking the Rs 10 crore paycheck for the second film.
It is worth mentioning that the makers of Uppena had gifted a posh Benz car to Buchi Babu, which worth Rs 75 lakh.
