A picture has been painted of the industry as a terrible place for outsiders to aspire to…. This narrative is salacious enough for the media to exploit to great effect in order to boost its ratings, readership and page views.”
This open letter from producer guild headed by Siddarth Roy Kapoor, also addressed how the industry extends work for lakhs and has invited and embraced talents from across the nation. It also said the Bollywood fraternity has likewise contributed to public causes in the midst of hardship.
