Prabhas’s latest mythological outing, Adipurush released in theaters on the 16th of June and it has had a pretty good run at the box office over the opening weekend.
The film has reportedly grossed over Rs 300 crores at the box office in the opening weekend which is a pretty good number in itself for a non-Rajamouli film.
The film has reportedly grossed over Rs 105 crores in the Telugu states itself in the first weekend. This is a very good number but with the massive investments in place, it needs to hold well over the second weekend as well.
And then, there’s the Hindi box office which has also clocked over Rs 100 crores gross. This is one of the best opening weekends for a pan-Indian film ever in the Hindi belt.
Adipurush has huge stakes involved so it is important for the film to do well over the second weekend as well if it is to be deemed a profitable venture.
