Tollywood had two new theatrical releases this weekend – Ramabanam and Ugram both of which had rather low buzz before the release.
But the issue here is that either of these films could go anywhere at the box office. Both of them have turned out to be non-starters at the box office with utterly poor revenues.
Ramabanam is comparatively better when put up against Ugram. The Gopichand film will end up as a big loss venture though, given that the production costs are slightly higher than Gopi’s market.
On the other hand, Ugram is likely to end up as a huge disaster with negligible collections in almost every area. This will go down as a huge failed attempt.
Naresh made a comeback with Naandhi and he has gone off track again with Ugram. This is a huge disaster for the talented actor.
