Prior to the release of Akhil Akkineni’s Agent, the makers announced that the film is made on a budget of Rs 80 crores. The same was claimed by the producer of the film, Anil Sunkara.
But now, Agent has started on a disaster note at the box office and it is heading for utterly poor numbers from all quarters.
Agent’s worldwide theatrical share after the opening weekend are a mere Rs 5.10 crore. At this rate, the film will not even touch the double digit mark fo Rs 10 crores share.
Amidst claims that Agent is made on a budget of Rs 80 crores, the fact that the film is not even likely to make Rs 10 crores from the theatrical run is shocking.
