Box Office Analysis: Raju Gari Gadhi Vs. RGG 2 Vs. RGG 3

Raju Gari Gadhi is a horror franchise where its two series became successful hits. As the first part turned out to be a sleeper hit, the makers continued it as a franchise. RGG 2 turned out to be a decent hit, which made the makers to move on to the third part. The third installment, RGG3 is slated for the release on October 18.

1) Raju Gari Gadhi: There are no expectations on this movie as director Omkar’s first movie was dud at the box office. For morning shows, this movie has witnessed an average crowd but the comedy scenes, thrills and message in the movie helped it to gain huge response from the response. With positive talk from the audience, this comedy-horror thriller became super hit.

Made with three Crore budget, Raju Gari Gadhi had collected Rs 1.1 Crore share on its first day. Overall, this movie has collected Rs 10.3 Crore share and became super hit by collecting Rs 11.25 Crore share worldwide.

2) Raju Gari Gadhi 2: As the first part witnessed huge success, the makers have invested a huge budget on its second part. It featured Akkineni Nagarjuna, Samantha, Vennala Kishore, etc. But, this film failed to meet the expectations at the box office as it lacks comedy, engaging screenplay alike first part.

Made with the budget of Rs 25+ Crore, RGG 2 did pre-release business of Rs 25 Crore. On its first day, it has collected Rs 4.1 Crore share and overall, it has collected Rs 15.4 Crore share in various states. Moreover, it managed to collect Rs 18.15 Crore share worldwide making distributors to enter into losses.

3) Raju Gari Gadhi 3: Omkar has taken the utmost care not to repeat the mistakes of RGG 2 in this third installment. It is heard that RGG 3 will be on the lines of its first series with complete comedy, horror, thrills involved in it. Made with 4-5 crores budget, teasers, trailers of RGG 3 received good response from the audience.

It is expected that this film will be able to collect Rs 1.5 to 2 Crore share on its first day.
