As the election results are yet to be out in a few days, the TDP is expecting a change of the government at the Centre.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu strictly went against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after the assembly and Lok Sabha elections in AP, blaming the Centre for its alleged involvement in the irregularity in the way the elections were conducted.
TDP wants to bring down the Modi government this time and though BJP wins again, the TDP leaders are expecting Rajnath Singh or Nitin Gadkari to be the next PM, instead of Modi again. The AP CM told his ministers and other senior party members to not to worry about the exit poll results that are expected to be out on May 19th.
Naidu expressed his confidence with the party leaders that TDP is retaining the government for sure and the reports are rife that the party is also looking for a possible ally with the Congress, as the chances for it to form the government at the Centre cannot be declined.
Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister KCR is also against Narendra Modi. Though in the beginning, he was desperate to form the federal front, as not many parties came in support of KCR, the dynamic CM is now looking forward to support Congress at least, for a considerable position in Delhi. So, it should be seen who among the Chief Ministers of both the Telugu states, will succeed in wooing Congress party.
