Maharshi has started its run with a divided talk and magically turned into super hit later. As the film has no other tough competition in the market and adding to it, even the concept is a social message oriented one, the makers promoted it wisely. This made the film witness some magical numbers at the box office.
Dil Raju, who is aiming to move to Bollywood since long, is now considering it as a right time. He is planning to enter Hindi Cinema, with the remake of Maharshi there, with a huge star. As agriculture is a Pan India subject, and would be accepted universally, Dil Raju is considering Maharshi as the right option.
Reportedly, he along with a few of his close associates are planning to meet Salman Khan soon and show him Maharshi and convince him to remake it. The Super Star earlier picked Telugu movies like Ready, Pokiri etc for remakes in Bollywood.
Currently, Salman has Dabangg 3 and Bharat in hands. So, it should be seen whether he would give nod to Maharshi remake or not.
