The race for winning the upcoming GHMC elections is very much on for every single political party in Hyderabad. Every single party is releasing its own manifesto, filled with very tempting and alluring offers for everyone.

The Congress party released its manifesto just yesterday, and the BJP has today released a manifesto that is promising a lot of things free of cost for the people of Hyderabad. The BJP called in one of its senior leaders, and former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis to Hyderabad on Thursday, for releasing this manifesto.

The manifesto promises free mobile tabs and free wifi for all those poor families who cannot afford it, so that their children will be able to access online classes during this pandemic. Property tax for all those living in slum areas and SC colonies has also been waived by the BJP. Free permissions for the construction of houses in a land less than 125 Sq, yards has also been promised in the manifesto.

The manifesto is also promising free travel for women travelling by buses and metro trains in the city. Free tap connections, and free drinking water supply has been promised, along with a waiver of electricity bill for all those who use less than 100 units of power.

The BJP is also promising to scrap out the Layout Regularisation Scheme introduced by the TRS government, which it said was causing a burden of Rs15,000 crores on people.

The BJP is also promising an amount of Rs. 25,000 to all the flood victims of Hyderabad. These are indeed some lucrative offers for the people of Hyderabad, it is now to be seen if this manifesto will help the BJP win the GHMC elections.
